How long is the rental lease term?
Self-storage is 6-months.

When can I access my rental space?
7-days a week, 24-hours a day. 

Will my stored belongings be safe while in storage?
At Crow River Storage, we’re taking care of people, not just their property. We strive to do our very best in making sure you are at ease knowing that your belongings are being stored with the utmost care. All units are privately secured by tenant which helps to add peace of mind.  

Does the storage facility insure my belongings or is that the tenant’s responsibility?
The belongings of the tenant are NOT insured by the rental property. Crow River Storage strongly encourages all customers to make sure they have adequate coverage for those unforeseeable events. We highly encourage adding a renters insurance policy for your belongings. 

How much notice is required prior to vacating my storage unit?
Crow River Storage requires a minimum of 30 days advanced written notice prior to vacating. If you vacate prior to the end of the monthly tenancy, refunds for "un-used" days are not provided.

Can I store a vehicle within a storage unit?
Vehicles may be stored within storage units. Tenants are responsible for taking preventive measures to avoid fluid drips/tracks.

Will I receive a monthly rent reminder (invoice)?
Crow River Storage is able to send rent reminders via mail to our customers prior to their due date. Pre-payments are also acceptable. Crow River Storage can also set up an automatic payment each month if you choose.  

Will my rental rate ever increase during my tenancy?
To continue offering exceptional service and to keep up with the rising costs of doing business, periodically it becomes necessary to adjust customers’ rental rates. Advance notice will be given in the event that rates increase. 

Can I transfer to different unit?
Occasionally customers have a need to transfer to another storage unit for various reasons. Transferring from the management side is a very simple process, and is dealt with regularly.

Am I able to store someone else’s items within my leased space?
In accordance with the rental lease agreement, customers are not permitted to store belongings other than their own. 

What happens if I lose the keys to my lock?
Crow River Storage is able to remove locks with proper identification and a lock cut removal waiver signed. A new lock must be secured to the unit immediately after it has been removed.
